Yes. There are different options that can achieve this.
1) Posting Questions as a "Guest" on Answerbase
You can have visitors to your site submit questions as "guests", if you don't want them to maintain an actual login or registration on your site and just want to give them an easy path to ask questions. When users submit a question as a guest, they are only asked for their email address so they can be notified about the answer to the question when it's been published...but they won't have anything about them displayed around the question that was asked publicly that can be seen by other users. You can find options to manage this under "System Settings > Login & Registration" in your administration portal.
2) Anonymous Username and Display Name on Profile
If you're allowing your customers to have an actual account and they can create and maintain a user profile, they don't have to identify themselves on that profile. Just as you can on Twitter and other social media networks, you can use a made up username and display name and have that be your online persona. That keeps your actual person anonymous, but allows you to submit inquiries without others knowing who is behind the profile.
