Questions that are posted have two elements to them, they have the question itself which we refer to as the "question title" and then any further details around the question which we refer to around the "question details". The form is typically shown similar to what you see here:
Let's dig into why there is both a question title and then a question details field, and the importance and use of both.
Question Title: The question title is the question that is being posed. The question title is important to have be a succinct question that is being asked since that is necessary to ensure the content is valuable to other users in the future as we can match that they have the same question, ensures that the content is distributed in a way that is searchable/clickable for SEO purposes, and also manageable when you're managing content in the administration site. This ensures that we have a question title that we can distribute to Google and other search engines which is optimized for both understanding what the question is about but also ensures users will click on the search result as they understand it's content that relates to their own question.
Example: "What kind of cleaning product is necessary to maintain this in my warmer climate?"
Question Details: Users have the question details which they can provide any further information regarding their inquiry and can be very lengthy....so that is where they can expand upon their question as they'd wish/need. This allows them to dig into any further details that are needed for you to understand the full scope of their need, so you can answer effectively.
Example: "I live in Florida which is very humid and warm pretty much year round.....so was wondering if there is anying special needed to maintain this product in that climate."
The combination of the question title and question details ensures that your customers can easily ask their question with all of the relevant details, but also ensures that the content that is being created is both searchable/usable for other users to take advantage of as well as driving search clicks and traffic.
