Google has not offered any specific guidance on this yet based on what we have seen, but based on what we have read on this topic and you'll see answers on quora that delve into this topic....where SEO experts are communicating that optimizing your website in general does have an impact on how your Google My Business Listing will perform. We've seen this evolving quickly in the ecommerce space as more rich results like product results on Google's 1st page of SERPS are coming up as the primary option for searchers to see their options, and in those cases we have seen that helpful content impacts position of how those product pages are listed. At the end of the day, Google's focused on giving the end customer the most satisfying experience....and part of that experience would be if they clicked into the website of a business in the Google My Business listings and then had to experience the information and content on that page....so it seems as if this would be a factor in what businesses Google may prioritize....but we'll need to see what Google's specific guidance is on this if they ever address it.
