Yes, if you've discontinued a product on your site and you need to merge those products....you can transfer the Q&A from being related to one product to another product. You do this through a "Product Merge" which we've detailed how to manage below.
1) Go to Ecommerce Module
In Answerbase admin dashboard, go to your "System Settings > Ecommerce Module" as you see here:
2) Select Product Tab
Once you've entered that section, click on the "Products Tab" as you see here:
3) Search for The Product You're Going to Merge Into Another
Then you'll see a list of your products. You can do a product search within the field on the top right as you see here:
You should search for the product that you're looking to merge the Q&A from that product to another product...and when you pull that product up...you'll see an option under the "Actions" dropdown to merge the product to another as seen here:
4) Select Product to Merge Into
Once you've selected to Merge that product with another product...you'll then identify the product you'd like the Q&A to be merged into on the next page...where you'll see an interface like this:
If you search for the product you want to merge with, select it, and then click "Merge"....it will reassociate all of the Q&A content to the selected product and your merge will be complete.
