In Google search console, you'll see a "Merchant Listings" option on the left nav if you're an ecommerce merchant....you can see it here:
A number of ecommerce merchants have come to us because they've seen a drop in traffic since Google has started prioritizing these "Popular Products" tables.....and sometimes the issue starts with this report if you're seeing a lot of red in that area like this:
The first thing you need to know, is that Google qualifies ecommerce merchants to be eligible in these reports not only through Google Merchant Center....but also your product structured data (see an article on what these "Merchant Listing Experiences"....aka "Popular Products"....are).
The good news is, that you can not only get these items fixed in order to increase your visibility/traffic/revenue. As we've been able to review customers problems here....we're able to identify issues with their product structured data (for both products and product variants, super important) that can lead to a recovery. See some examples here after we were able to do relatively quickly for our customers....they start seeing green within a week after we engage with them.

e can also connect you with trusted agencies and SEO experts who can do a deep dive and we've seen DRAMATIC lifts through addressing these issues...and have proven to do so. See a couple examples here:

We encourage you to Schedule a Call and we'll help with what we can if there are obvious things to point out (no cost, we're just here to help) and then can manage recommendations to trusted agency partners if you'd like somebody to maximize your results and ensure you're working with somebody who understands ecommerce SEO inside and out...and doesn't waste a lot of your money on items irrelevant for SEO in 2024 and beyond.
