We know that Google is looking for "people first content" and the Q&A has been specifically rewarded so it's super valuable for both users....I mean, see the lift in one of the Latest Google core updates to the Q&A landing pages (powered by Answerbase of course)....
But the information that is within that Q&A content can be focused on specific products and categories of products....and making the content more value. Consider the types of content that can be enhanced with original "people first" content that Google is rewarding....
Answerbase makes it easy for a merchant and their agency to extract the great "people first content" (and recognize that it's great) focused on very specific products or product categories....and leverage that content to create great content that is actually original and insightful. Here are a couple ways you can access those.
1) Answerbase's Product and Product Category Helpful Content Optimization Workflow
Answerbase prioritizes your products and product categories into a workflow so we can start with your highest converting pages and work our way down from there....where you can optimize those pages with real "people first helpful content" within 5-15 minutes per page....which provides both long tail traffic while lifting the short-tail product searches that everybody's looking for. Within that workflow...when you're looking at one of your product or product categories...you'll be able to see your currently publisheed Q&A content related to that product within the "currently published" tab....see here the tab:
Under that tab...you'll see the option to export the current Q&A related to that product as you see here:
So...when you export that you'll be able to see the Q&A pairs and then also how customers have valued each of the available answers as well....so you can dig in and determine what content you'd like to utilize. If you're looking for a very specific product outside the workflow.....see that process next to get that content that can create "information gain" focused on a product of your choosing.
2) Finding "Information Gain" Content for a Specific Product or Product Category
Agencies have specific strategies and focuses on products and categories based on those strategies......so we want to make it easy for you to find those as well. You can find a specific product by going under "System Settings > Ecommerce Module" in your left nav as seen here:
Then you'll be able to click into the product tab here and do a search for the product you're looking for as seen here:
Once you do a search for the product....you'll be able to see that there is a "Questions" column with the number of Q&A's related to that product...and you can click into that link:
You'll be brought to a list of questions related to that specific product and then you'll see an option to export the Q&A's as seen here:
That provides you with an export of all of the question details, any answer(s) for that question....and also data on (1) demand and visits for the question and (2) the quality of the answer(s) based on real customer feedback. This enables marketing managers and agencies who many times don't have real expertise (EEAT) that Google is looking for within content that creates real value and "information gain" for the web.....and empowers them with that great original content so they can make sure it's in a format that is most helpful to visitors (or expand the formats it's available within).
But the information that is within that Q&A content can be focused on specific products and categories of products....and making the content more value. Consider the types of content that can be enhanced with original "people first" content that Google is rewarding....
- Enhancing Product Descriptions (especially if you have manufacturer descriptions)
- Enhancing Product Buyers Guides and "Product vs Product" comparisons
- Category Level Buyers Guides
