The product/category relationship that Answerbase recognizes is the one that is either defined by one of the following things:
You can check on your product/category associations we currently have saved by going into "System Settings > Ecommerce Module" and then searching for a product....you can then click into a specific product and you'll see the categories that are associated as shown here:
That is the association that Answerbase recognizes and uses to help drive things like our relevance filter and other calls to action to help lead visitors to content that is relevant to their product searches.
- If you've installed your app through your platform (like Shopify or Bigcommerce) we sync with automatically through the apps so we should recoginize the relationships through syncing with your ecommerce platform.
- If we don't sync directly with your ecommerce platform, you should have defined within your product/category association widget parameter when implementing Q&A on your product pages which let's us know what category or categories each product is associated with.
