"Our core ranking systems generally evaluate content on a page-specific basis, including when understanding aspects related to page experience. However, we do have some site-wide assessments."
So....when thinking about your site and how your product and category pages will be "good for SEO"....you need to just think about your customer experience when they get into the individual page. For ecommerce merchants this is important because you need to assess each page individually...and ensure that any/all information that is relevant to a person to that page....that is what you want there. For Q&A via Answerbase, this comes to the surface in making sure any super helpful site-wide Q&A's, category level Q&A's...and then of course the product Q&A's....are displaying based on what is most relevant to the end-user. You want to ensure that the content that is most valuable to a customer on that page (regardless of whether or not that Q&A is relevant to other pages as well)....you want that information to satisify that customer displaying on each page where it's relevant and that is great for SEO.
