The short answer is "not yet", but let's dig into what is going on and we encourage you not to panic....Google is defending it's position as the place to go for searching for information (which is 80% of Google's searches)....and we do expect Google and other AI search tools to give some visibility into what is going on as they need to effectively service/reward the content creators in order to utilizing their content over the long term.
Obviously.....AI is shaking things up quite a bit when it comes to searches for information....and we've seen Q&A content completely explode in activity/traffic during this transition over the last couple years and now more and more visible within AI Overviews. As that happens...marketers are interested in knowing how visible their content and brand is being within the results. To date (May 23, 2025)....Google is not giving visibility into this in Google Search Console now. But....you can get a sense of how you're doing....so if you're seeing a drop in traffic in GSC...you may actually be getting more visibility than you may think (see below)....so don't knee jerk react while Google gets it's act together as far as reporting your visibility. We expect many things will come down the road including visibility into how people are searching for information, perhaps even getting to remarket to customers where you're information is referenced....but right now Google is just trying to get the customer experience right as they're competing with other AI search tools....and then these subsequent tools to support the business community will follow (as it did before).
Again...don't panic here...your content and brand are likely still getting visibility even if you don't have as much insight into that now. Answerbase has been a bit fortunate in this transition...as we're seeing lift in both traditional visibility that we can track/see (see bottom of this article)...but we're also seeing really nice visibility within AI Overviews. See this example below and how the Q&A content is showing in the AI overviews and below it to satisfy the search...where it's being referenced 5 times!

So...just because we don't get detailed reports on that right now....it's happening and our customers are satisfied with what they're seeing so far. Now, as mentioned...we're a bit fortunate because we're also seeing huge increases in traffic as Google steers towards "people first content" and being able to effectively distinguish between content that is just copy-cat marketing stuff and what is real original and new good information that can satisfy searches. Over the last few years we've seen the Q&A content blow up through the Helpful Content Updates as seen here:

So....for now....do as Google continues to say....create great and unique content that satisifies your customers, and both Google and any AI engine needs that content in order to do their job in serving it up.
