A person can fill out their profile details after they've registered, and there are many options you can allow them to fill out. You can manage those options under "System Settings > General Settings" and enable or disable the profile fields as you'd like. The Answerbase platform also automatically recognizes expertise based on a person's answering activity, so as the user answers questions and receives feedback from other users on the quality of those answers....the system automatically rates the expertise of the user and that can also display on their profiles.
