A normal session will expire after the browser is shut down (for most browsers), the user logs out, or if the session has been inactive for more than 60 min. If a user checks the "Stay signed in" box when logging in, and they continue acting on the same computer, the system will recognize that they have selected that option and a new session will be created if they try to access the site moving forward....as long as they don't logout manually in which case they will be required to login again.
