Once you setup your own domain or subdomain for your Q&A environment, you're ready to change the settings in Answerbase to make the connection between your Q&A environment and your domain name.
In your admin site, go into the "Customization" area and select "Domain Name". Once you select domain name, you'll see an option for you to have your environment under a root domain or subdomain...click the "Manage Settings" button and you'll see a field to identify the domain or subdomain for your site. Select that option, fill out the field with your domain name or subdomain name....and then save.
Once you save, you'll see an IP address that you need to now go back to your domain provider and make sure the DNS settings for your domain are pointing to that IP address identified in your admin area. Once you complete that setup on your domain provider's end....it may take 24-48 hours for the domain name to propogate and the internet to recognize the new location for your domain or subdomain...but once it does, you should be able to see your Q&A environment showing up on your desired domain.
