We don't price based on number of users, but rather a feature that you're taking advantage of. We do also keep track of activity (pageviews/widget-requests/api-requests) to make sure that makes sense with the plan. We communicate about any traffic thresholds on a case by case basis if/when that does pop up and we try to keep the needs/state of the customer in mind there.
In general,here are the thresholds where we begin to look at the sites and may require an upgrade depending on their activity:
BASIC PLAN THRESHOLD:
30,000 Pageviews/month
75,000 API Requests Per Month
PROFESSIONAL PLAN THRESHOLD:
100,000 Pageviews/month
250,000 API Requests Per Month
BUSINESS PLAN THRESHOLD
250,000 Pageviews/month
1,000,000 API Requests Per Month
OVERAGES
$150/month per additional 200,000 Pageviews
$150/month per additional 1,000,000 API Requests
