The site indexes question title, question details, and categories/tags. The search does use Lucene.net "fuzzy logic" in order to identify mistakes/misspellings/etc. We can make adjustments to what is indexed and how depending on the plan that you choose to go with. Our enterprise customers choose to customize that quite a bit depending on what they'd like and what would serve their use-case, so customization on that plan is certainly available.
If you are inquiring because there are some recently entered questions that are not showing up, it could be due to how often they are indexed. There is an index in the background that indexes/reindexes questions....so it may be that those questions have not been indexed yet (manages that periodically throughout the day).
