If you're in Google Search Console and trying to submit a sitemap for your content that is on one of your subdomains, you may run into an issue where Google Search Console has your domain pre-filled in as you see here:

If you're seeing this, you're site is still setup on Google's older "URL Prefix" setup...most likely because your Google Search Console account was set up before 2019 when Google provided a better way of setting up your account.
The fix for this is relatively easy and won't impact your existing reports, but you need to update your Google Search Console account to use the "new" (Google released it in 2019) Domain Property reports.
