When you're viewing a question in your Answerbase administration dashboard, you'll see a product association on the right side as seen here:
By default this will show the product or product category that the customer asked the question from. But, many times a question may be relevant to more than one product, a category of products, or even all of your products. For these cases....you can edit the Q&A association to ensure you distribute that content effectively throughout your ecommerce site to help visitors anywhere they're visiting and it can be helpful.
Editing the Product Association
On the right side you'll see an "Edit" option as seen here:
Click on that edit button and then you'll see the ability to search for any other products or product categories that you'd like to associate the Q&A to. You can do a keyword search as seen here:
You'll also see an option to associate it with "All Products" as you focus into that text field as you can see here:
So that let's you have questions that are relevant to any of your products and have those be available to answer your customers automatically through auto-suggest or as you apply our "relevance" filter on your product pages. These can be questions about your company like "Where are you located?", "How long have you been in business?", "What is your return policy?", etc.
