This customer was an interesting story....because they actually reached out to us in September of 2024 talking about how Q&A wasn't performing for them. Turns out....now we're driving 24% of their organic traffic and the scalable recognition and publication of good helpful content should turn that into much more over time as they continue to give Google and AI what it needs to drive traffic.
Help Us Help YouWhen this customer reached out to us in September, telling us the Q&A content wasn't doing anything for their organic SEO.....it didn't take long to identify what the problem us. Turns out, they weren't answering any of their customer questions. We had a healthy conversation communciating that all they needed to do was (1) know about the products they're selling and (2) effectively service their customers as they ask questions. The results are great....
The New "Magic Trick" with SEO is not Magic, it's Servicing Your CustomersTurns out, Google's communication about "just create helpful people first content" actually works....and it's not as complicated as some "SEO Experts" may lead you to believe:) Simply service your customers...and Answerbase helps identify what those needs are, makes it quick and easy to publish that content, and distributes it in a way that Google (and AI) gobbles up and puts within their results.
See what happened after they started simply answering their customer questions through Answerbase....the red arrow is when we had the conversation:

Google continues to reward the content that gives them what they need, original answers to questions from REAL people. See how the content is being gobbled up by Google and indexed:

As far as percentage of crawled content that has been indexed...note that 928 of the pages have been discovered...but Google hasn't crawled them yet and chosen what to index.

What that means...is that 83% of the Q&A pages that Google has crawled it has chosen to index.
Percentage of Overall Traffic is over 20%As you can see...it continues to climb and we see that in the last 28 days (via Google Search Console filter) that the Q&A content is 20% of their overall traffic. When you look at the last 7 days....it's actually 24% of their traffic. You can see the Q&A content here:

and then here is their total traffic for the last 7 days:

So...if you do some Math...that's 24.8% and growing. We would expect over time we'll be responsible for between 25-50% of their traffic (or more if they continue publishing good original "people first" content).
There is no magic trick to content anymore, you simply service your customers through Answerbase....and that content will do the rest.
